On December 5, 2018, the results of HORECA “UP” ULTRA PROFESSIONAL award for hotels and restaurants were announced. Royal Beach is a restaurant on Krestovsky Island with original cuisine and a panoramic view, was recognized as the best venue for major events in St. Petersburg. The restaurant's pastry chef Anastasia Botkina became one of the best pastry chefs in the city and took the second place with the signature dessert "Honey Cone of Cedar Forest". The familiar honey cake can be hardly recognized in an unconventional interpretation. Moreover the recipe is not simple: English custard mousse, floral honey streusel, tree nut mixture. It is served on the “ground” of a classic chocolate sponge cake, with pear coolie, jam of young fir cones and “moss” of pistachio sponge cake. “Honey Cone” in the Royal Beach dessert menu is since September 2018.
Royal Beach features four halls with separate entrances and panoramic windows, where 10-500 guests can be comfortably held, as well as spacious coastal areas, a summer pavilion, guarded parking, special light and sound equipment, and a professional event team. All these allowed us to win the title of one of the most sought-after venues for private events, presentations, cultural events and citywide celebrations in the city. In 2018 only, such events as the official reception before the opening of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum on behalf of the SPIEF Organizing Committee, the 25th anniversary of the Delovoy Peterburg newspaper, St. Petersburg Design Week took place here, and during the 2018 World Cup, the Royal Beach became the official Fan House of the Casa Bleue French team.
